The Ultimate Introduction to Flying via Lake Tahoe
This flight covers the first flight lesson in our Jeppesen training curriculum. Begin your lesson with an informative 20 minute pre-flight briefing of the aircraft and systems. You will depart the Reno/Tahoe International airport en-route to Lake Tahoe with you at the controls.
On your flight you'll learn about the aircraft controls, taxiing, stability, climbing, descending, turning and landing. You'll fly over the south meadows and get up close and personal with Mount Rose and Slide Mountain , Washoe Lake and our state capitol, Carson City .
We then turn west to the magnificent Lake Tahoe . You'll fly north along the gorgeous east shore beaches and Sand Harbor State Park , over Crystal Bay and then to the Truckee-Tahoe airport for an exciting touch and go landing.
Returning to Reno , navigating your way through the beautiful Truckee River canyon, you finish off the trip flying past the downtown Reno skyline and making your first full stop landing. Approximately 1hour,10 minutes flight time (includes taxi and run-up). $162 with Be a Pilot Certificate (reg. $188).
The Truckee Meadows Introductory Flight Lesson
The Truckee Meadows lesson includes the same first flight lesson as above from our Jeppesen curriculum.
This flight takes you on a breathtaking trip around our high desert valley with you at the controls. Includes a visit to the Reno/Stead airport for your first touch and go landing.
Approximately 45 minutes flight time (includes taxi and run-up). $105 with Be a Pilot Certificate (reg. $132)
Our basic introductory flight Lesson
This is the “Be a Pilot” introductory flight lesson. This lesson gives you the informative pre-flight briefing with about a 20 minute flight over Sparks with you at the controls learning about the basic handling skills necessary to fly an airplane. $59 with Be a Pilot Certificate (reg. $79.)
Additional time can be added to any flight for $141/hr.
